Our second annual Walk of Hope will promote education and awareness about the serious and tragic public health problem of suicide, which can be prevented through mental health and substance use awareness, services, and support. Suicide affects all individuals, but is the second leading cause of death among those aged 15 to 24. However, data shows that 22 active duty service members and veterans die by suicide every day.
