Vigil held for Everett mother killed in hit-and-run crash
EVERETT, Wash. -- Family and friends gathered Saturday to remember a woman killed by a hit-and-run driver last week in Everett. It was an emotional goodbye for Heidi K. Allen. Police found the 37-year-old mother and wife laying on the ground on grand avenue last week. She was seriously injured and taken to the hospital where she later died. But instead of focusing on her death, her family is remembering her kind spirit and how she touched others.

Hummelstown woman killed in early morning train crash
DERRY TOWNSHIP, Dauphin County - Police are investigating a deadly train crash that killed a Hummelstown woman early Sunday morning. Investigators say the crash happened after 3 a.m in the area of the 1000 block of Old West Chocolate Avenue. Officers say 51-year-old Tabitha Meister's vehicle became stuck on the railroad tracks. Witnesses say that she tried to move her car off of the tracks but was unsuccessful.

Family confirm Laura Pace’s body was recovered just after 7 p.m. after a days long search for her across Skiatook. Laura Pace was last seen leaving the Skiatook Walmart Thursday around 1 a.m. The next day, her car was found near North 52nd West Avenue by the Hominy Creek bridge. Pedestrian struck by car in Hershey
DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. -- Police are investigating a late-night crash involving a pedestrian who was struck by a car. According to police, the pedestrian is 32-year-old Nicole L. Mikanowicz of Hershey and the driver of the car is 71-year-old Bernadette M. Papson of Lebanon. On Saturday night, Mikanowicz was allegedly crossing from the north side of East Chocolate Avenue to the south side of the roadway when she was struck by Papson. Police say Mikanowicz sustained severe injuries and was transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment.
