Minot man charged with stealing credit cards
A 24-year-old Minot man is charged with stealing two credit cards from his girlfriend’s mother on Sunday and making more than $500 in unauthorized charges at Walmart. Sulaiman Barrie made an initial appearance on the two Class C felony charges in district court in Minot on Thursday. In a separate case, Barrie and his cousin, Mamadu Saidu Barrie, 20, are charged with stealing a bank card from Barrie’s ex-girlfriend and making unauthorized charges on it in March. Judge Todd Cresap told Barrie in court on Thursday that he has seen far too much of Barrie in his courtroom in the last year and a half.
