Christopher Del Vecchio Named President and COO
SCHENECTADY, NY, June 15, 2018 — MVP Health Care’s Board of Directors today announced two senior leadership promotions intended to drive the organization’s ongoing transformation into a growth-oriented, consumer-focused, comprehensive health services company. Central to those changes, Denise Gonick will take on the expanded role of chief executive officer and director, joining the board as MVP’s first inside director in its history. Her focus will be on the vision and long-term strategy of the organization, while she continues to set the tone of its leadership culture.
In addition, MVP Chief Operating Officer Christopher Del Vecchio has been elevated to the broader executive position of president and chief operating officer.

Del Vecchio will oversee all products and services MVP offers, including commercial, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as day-to-day operations, sales, marketing, and business development. He will also be responsible for the continued conversion of MVP’s technology platforms, analytics, and service capabilities to better serve members and providers and maximize the efficiency of the existing business model.
