Sandcastle Classic: Become a Team Donor and support our efforts!

Dear <>,
Coffman Engineers, Inc. (Coffman) is excited to tell you about Leap’s 36th annual Sandcastle Classic. Thousands of people will gather on Ocean Beach Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 for a sandcastle contest which has become one of the largest and most successful annual charity events in the San Francisco Bay Area. This contest is unique because it facilitates the partnership between design and building industry partners, like you, with local schools to envision, design, and construct impressive sand sculptures. The event is a thrilling experience for the teams and the thousands of families and tourists who come to watch and enjoy the process that includes everything from mini-classroom sessions to getting the kids in the sand. This year’s theme is “Building Bridges” and supports a valuable cause to bring essential arts programs into local schools. Coffman is participating as “Bay Area Bridge Trolls” and is once again paired with John Yehall Chin Elementary School, Architectural Resources Group (ARG), Oliver & Company and Applied Materials and Engineering, Inc.
Become a Team Donor and support our efforts!
We encourage you to support the fundraising efforts of our team by becoming a Team Donor for Leap’s Sandcastle Classic. In addition to the benefits highlighted on the attached page, as a Team Donor this event is an excellent opportunity for networking, team-building within your organization, and supporting the initiative to put art back into Bay Area schools.
Our 2018 goal is to raise $300,000 to help Leap deepen the impact to over 7,000 Bay Area students this year, all of which comes from donations. Our team’s goal is $7,000. Each of our sponsors will be prominently listed on the team materials, including the sandcastle site sign, the team t-shirt, and on our team’s webpage. Donor levels can be found on the following page and we invite you to donate what you can to enable Leap’s programs to help children develop valuable skills that are essential for success in the 21st century: creative problem solving, critical thinking, and self-confidence.
Becoming a Team Donor is now easier than ever by donating online! You can make your donation to our team by visiting our team page, here . If you would like to donate by check, please be sure to complete and submit the attached Sandcastle Donation Form , so that our team gets acknowledged for your generous gift.
