Jansal Valley® caperberries are harvested from the richest farmland in Spain. The caper plant, Capparis Spinosa, is a predominantly wild bramble shrub. The caperberries are the fruit of the buds that have been correctly pollinated. They can be as large as a cocktail olive. Due to the natural fermenting process, Jansal Valley® caperberries have a delicate texture and vibrant natural green color. Our producer has been famous for harvesting capers and caperberries for decades and is located in Lorca, Spain. Hand harvested and carefully chosen from only the finest capparis plant, they are the perfect garnish on your favorite meat, vegetable and fish dishes, and lend piquancy to many sauces and condiments.
