In the last article, we discussed the history of the ACT and SAT standardized tests and discussed North Dakota’s involvement with these assessments. One of the most confusing aspects of these assessments is figuring out how they are scored and, for parents with students who have high GPAs, understanding why their child may have a mid- to low-range ACT score.
