October is likely to be another warmer-than-normal month in Upstate New York. The month is starting off with several days of sun and well above average temperatures. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the highs could reach into the low 80s -- about 15 degrees warmer than normal. It would be the second month in a row of above-average temperatures. Although September started out very cool, the unprecedented string of 80-degree and 90-degree days bumped the month to well above average.
