PORTLAND (WGME) -- The United Way hosted a different kind of food drive on Friday in Portland. The organization brought a handful of groups together by collecting cans and turning them into a work of art. Monument square was transformed into a massive workshop. Cans were stacked one at a time, working to make the perfect sculpture. Different companies came together, collecting cans that will go to food pantries around the area.
