Growth of TV streaming services slows

Streaming services such as Sling TV and DIRECTV Now are experiencing sluggish customer growth, which may be due in part to competition. DIRECTV Now reported 49,000 new subscribers in the third quarter after signing up 342,000 in Q2, while only 26,000 new customers joined Sling TV in Q3.
