In March 2018,14 TFS high schoolers set off for Santiago, Chile, with teachers Sra. Gabriela Toujas and Mrs. Mary Crites for the 2018 Upper School international trip. They visited popular tourist spots like the Pablo Neruda Museum, Isla Negra Beach, the garden city of Vina del Mar, and the port city of Valparaiso. They went to Cascadas de las Animas (the Waterfall of the Spirits) where they river-rafted and zip-lined. They even took a day to visit a local school where they had the chance to practice their Spanish with the students. The TFS travelers ended their 10-day adventure with a three-night stay in a cabin in the Sierra de Bellavista Mountains, where they enjoyed horseback riding, hiking, and activities on the lake. What an incredible opportunity!
