Blair County Coroner Patricia Ross confirmed that Mikayla Focht, 18, of Duncansville, was killed by blunt force trauma and the investigation into what killed the high school girls softball standout on Knob Run Road early this morning remains ongoing. Ross said state police are investigating and that she is awaiting the pathologist’s report to make a determination on how Focht died. Ross said her office was called out at 6:30 a.m. Friday. Focht was not wearing a helmet, Ross said.
