The Maryland Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Festival will be hosting the 1st Annual Blue Collar STEM Conference at the B & O Railroad Museum in Baltimore on November 6th, 2017. The Conference will focus on jobs and careers that don’t require a four-year college degree, but do required extensive knowledge of STEM. There is a great need for workers, education/ training and awareness for these positions. There will be speakers and representatives from Industry, Labor, Government, Education and the Military to address this topic. MG Wins, RDECOM is one of the keynote speakers. Harford County Chamber of Commerce’s Military Affairs committee will host the Annual Spirit of Thanks Tour, an interactive soldier-oriented excursion on November 9, 2017. This one-day activity of education, remembrance and camaraderie will include round-trip motor coach transportation to NYC to visit our nation’s 9/11 Memorial & Museum. Edgewood Redevelopment Plan Presentation has been rescheduled for November 15, 2017 at Edgewood High School. Join us for the FINAL STEP in creating a vision for Edgewood.
