An Update on the Migrant Children

You are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Without a moment's hesitation, you dove right in to help children in their most frightening and heartbreaking moments.
We know how deeply traumatizing it is to separate any child from their parent.
All of us at Abbott House can't thank you enough for your kindness, compassion and above all, for taking action.
We want to let you know that we continue to reunite children separated from their families.
With your help, reuniting and strengthening or creating new families is what Abbott House has been doing for 54 years, and it is our mission to stay committed to caring for not only the separated
children but also the unaccompanied minors and children who remain in foster care. Their struggles continue, which means our work must continue.
Our staff have been elated to see the separated children reunited, but they will never forget them - nor their hugs.
We have been overjoyed to receive Facebook messages and comments on our posts from unaccompanied minors who you helped us care for and support at Abbott House on their journeys:
