I received notice from Ruth Councell this morning that her husband, Bishop George Councell suffered a stroke yesterday evening and is in the hospital. He is in a Neuro-Intensive Care Unit in stable condition and is responsive.
I ask the people of the Diocese of New Jersey and the wider Church to join Susan and me in keeping Bishop George, Ruth, and the Councell family in prayer.
