The grand opening for the Pensacola Ferry Landing was held Saturday morning. The City of Pensacola and its partners held the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the landing and also provided tours of the facility and boats to the public. Located between the Port of Pensacola and Plaza de Luna/Palafox Pier, the new $3. 5 million dock and terminal will be the homeport location for the two ferry vessels – Turtle Runner and Pelican Perch. Both of the catamaran-style boats hold 150 passengers.
