KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Three people are in custody in connection to a shooting in Kalamazoo. Officers responded to a report of shots fired on Riverview Drive near Gull Road just before 10:00 p. m. Sunday night. They found a 17-year-old and 18-year-old, both Kalamazoo residents, with gunshot wounds but they are expected to be okay. Police later found the suspects' car in the area of Davis Street and Wheaton Avenue. After a short chase, the suspects crashed.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Battle Creek Fire Department works to put out an early-morning house fire. Crews responded to the home on Ashley Street off of Michigan Avenue just after 4:30 a. m. Sunday morning. When they got there, there were flames coming from the deck that was attached to the house but firefighters were quickly able to extinguish it. No one inside the home was hurt.

KENT COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Kent County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly and fiery crash overnight. It happened near the intersection of Rusco Road and Sparta Avenue Northwest in Tyrone Township around 2:30 a. m. Sunday morning. Deputies said a driver was heading eastw hen it went through a stop sign and slammed into some trees. The vehicle then caught on fire. Right now, the Kent County Sheriff's Office is still working to positively identify the driver.
