HKV Schmitz + Partner GmbH has purchased the first crawler crane in the history of the company. Liebherr officially handed over the new LR 1500 to the crane rental company in March at its Cologne site. Its low cost transportation and fast set-up time were the main criteria behind the decision to buy the 500-tonne crawler crane. The overall concept of the LR 1500 is designed for simplicity and great economy in every respect.

Competition Prepared Sheldon ISD for Challenge Day

Previously, the Texas Education Agency, TEA, published each child's STAAR results on the Confidential Student Report (CSR) and provided the district a paper copy of the results to send home. TEA has redesigned the CSR and given it a new name, the STAAR Report Card. The redesign has significant changes with the goal of providing a more user-friendly report on student progress.

Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia will be hosting a College Planning Workshop on Tuesday, April 16, at C. E. King High School from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This free workshop will helps students learn about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and other financial aid options. In addition, scholarships will be drawn for high school seniors (must be present to win).

Sheldon ISD's CTE Department is excited to announce that C.E. King High School has been accepted to participate in TEALS, a proven Microsoft initiative that helps high schools build and grow computer science programs by pairing experienced and trained software engineers with classroom teachers.

The superintendent said the tax increase on the April 2 ballot would allow the district to add two floors to the primary school and salaries for new teachers.

With the historic rise of the Missouri River in St. Joseph, the amount of damaged left behind can be considered lucky.
