The El Paso Independent School District and the City of El Paso are teaming up to get more kids reading. EPISD Superintendent Juan Cabrera and Mayor Dee Margo announced a new initiative called “El Paso Reads. ” The district and city will create reading-friendly environments outside of school in places like restaurants, rec centers and bus stops.
