RICHLAND, Wash. - A large brushfire has shutdown popular highways. The Washington State Department of Transportation sent out an alert that said:A brush fire near SR-24 milepost 37, has closed SR-24 at milepost 30 at the jct with SR-241, 30 mile east of Yakima, to the Vernita Bridge are at the jct. with SR-243. Also SR-240 at milepost 20 is being closed just north of Richland. WSP, Fire and WSDOT units are working to clear the incident and reopen the highway.

RICHLAND, Wash. - James Dean Cloud and Donovan Quinn Carter Cloud appeared in court today for their arraignment. Both of the Cloud's were arrested as suspects for the White Swan shooting that happened in June. In court today, James Cloud, 35 pleaded not guilty for carjacking, two counts of brandishing of a firearm in furtherance of a crime, kidnapping and assault with a dangerous weapon.
