Arcadia, N. Y. – A Lyons man is in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash in the Town of Arcadia Monday. Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies say Adam Vanbuskirk failed to negotiate a curve while driving on Clark Road Monday afternoon. They say his vehicle went off the road, hit an embankment and flipped. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight. The crash investigation is ongoing.

Rochester, N. Y. - Rochester Police are investigating a homicide that happened Monday night on Lyell Avenue. A stretch of Lyell near Child Street is expected to be closed for several hours. Rochester Police officers arrived at the area around 6:30 p. m. and found a man near the Lyell Avenue firehouse. Rochester firefighters assisted in providing first aid. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died. Police believe this is an isolated incident. This is a developing story.
